Virtual Portfolio Classes

Many people wish to gain experience of practical investment to increase their self-confidence before investing real money in the future.

The portfolio classes provide this opportunity. Each member of a class is given a notional sum of cash, and then is guided through the process of investing it, paying commission and stamp duty where necessary. With a little help, each person chooses shares to buy, creates a portfolio, and then manages it by selling and purchasing new shares as desired, just as if it were real money.
